Eliza has worked on all sides of the event planning industry, starting
her career with a boutique destination management and corporate
event planner in Boston's Back Bay. She moved on to work at a prestigious
New England event venue as an assistant to the on-site Event Managers.
For the two years preceding WedBoston, Eliza worked as the Executive
Sales Associate for the top-grossing caterer in Boston. She graduated
from St. Lawrence University with a degree in Sociology and a minor
in Fine Arts.
Before founding WedBoston, Rachel planned weddings for nearly two
years at one of Manhattan's top five wedding planning firms. Her planning
experience has taken her from castles and Manhattan landmarks to old
synagogues and intimate restaurants. Rachel has also lived in both
Madrid and London, experiences in European culture and tradition that
she brings to her planning style. Rachel holds degrees from Boston
University in Journalism and Art History as well as a minor in Spanish.
